I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery whilst in Bozeman, Montana for a family vacation. It poured a nearly opaque dark amber with thin off white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle dark chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with a touch of a roast presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
