This is a really nice ale. Medium brown appearance, old-bone yellow head on top, small and dense.
Smells and tastes of caramel, mostly, well balanced by a gentle acidity and subtle hop presence. It's not too thick, and somewhat "lagery" in its feel and crispness.
I spent some time wishing it was just a little stronger, but then it wouldn't be a nice session beer. Overall, nice beer.

Poured from 16oz bottle into a clear cup. Best by 10/12/25.
Appearance: dark brown hue with a bit of haze and thin finger of frothy tan foam atop.
Smell: malty with a roasty, toasty character that has notes of chocolate and maybe a dash of caramel. There’s also something oddly metallic in the mix, though, that I don’t especially care for.
Taste: malty and slightly chocolatey, but there’s also a bit of an astringent or even acidic finish that’s not rounded off. It’s okay, but not the best brown ale out there.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I don’t hate it, but this beer just doesn’t grab me. Pretty meh.

Since Mexicans like sweets, I wonder why they don't prefer sweeter beers. This Mexican craft brewer ventured and this was OK, but probably not again.

L- Clear brown body, frothy white head with medium retention.
S- Lovely: dark fruits, figs, roasted grains and caramel.
T- Falls flat with just a flavor of toasted malts and some sliver of caramel at the start.
F- Full, rich.
O- This could a great brew but the taste was just meh.
