750ml bottle from SHINE. Lightly cloudy golden, small foamy head. Funky aroma, yeast. Taste features some fruity notes, more funk, light tartness, lemons, oranges.

12 bucks for a big bottle of this, an enjoyable beer. i wish they had a few more of the wild ones on tap when i was in, thats what these guys are becoming known for after all, but im glad they at least had them to go, and that the prices were so fair. this is pale and fizzy and golden and heady, holds a lot of white head, creamy looking, pretty much what i want something like this to look like. smells super funky, not sour at all, but bretty and well developed, not overly wild, its a familiar funk, but its mature to me, and stands out in a relatively simple base beer. built like a saison, some pale barley and white wheat i reckon, fermented down close to dry, and hopped with some earthy herbal hops, a bit of european sort of bitterness on the back end, nicely proportioned, but its the brett that flavors this the most, a little floral to me, horsey and musty, rustic and lightly medicinal, and this is really professional beer overall. its all about the yeast, they beer is very well refined, and it gets more interesting as it warms. a light belgian ester, some flowers, grassiness, and even some stone fruit. effervescent carbonation is nice, and the fast finish is too. i had no problem drinking the whole bottle to my head! i should have picked up a few more bottles...

Pours a light orange. Opaque. Aroma is Brett and spice. Taste has some Brett goodness and moderate bitterness.. it has a decent malt backbone. A nice mixed culture beer.
