also called limon gose from what i gather, which is of course the same thing, inconsequential really, but i have to assume its the same beer. i didnt really know these guys were doing sours, so thats pretty cool. this is fresh and summery, not quite as clean on the fermentation side as it could be, but bright and natural with the lemon in here, and i appreciate that aspect, almost has the taste and texture of lemonade, similar tartness, not overly acidic at all. yellow in color, moderate carbonation, fresh lemon in the nose, a little dirty lacto thing too, but its not there so much when i taste it, just kind of overly simple, not a lot of wheat going on, and not a lot of salt either, just kind of conservative it seems from a recipe standpoint, but its light enough to be real drinkable, especially for the style, and its good to see these guys pushing themselves into some different styles. i bet in future batches this well be tidied up a bit on the souring side, and we will have a real refreshing summer beer. for now, its better than okay but a few obvious tweaks away from something i would be eager to drink again...
