Well a belated thanks to russpowell for this treat.
Pours an amber tinged gold in color. A solid head forms and stays around persistently. Great retention and this beauty leaves a trail of descending lacing that tracks my journey.
The nose is a glorious blend of an initial grassy pop, that moves toward pine resin, a hint of bright citrus zest and a mildly sweet bread note.
Flavor is on spot with the nose. The pine and citrus play in the beginning but that malt backbone is ever present, and lovely. Finish moves towards a pine surrendering to grapefruit zest bitterness.
This baby is nice!

Pours an effervescent gold with 2 fingers of eggshell colored head. Good head retention & great lacing
S: Bready, grassy, a little caramel once warm
T: Follows the nose, fairly dry, woody/piney hops up front. Pine dominates, plus a little citrus to go with breadyness once this beer is warmed up. Finishes piney, a little cakey & just a bit of grapefruit
MF: Medium body, low-level carbonation, great balance
Easy to drink; hop forward to the point this will pass for an IPA
