Aged keg poured on draft at the Taproom
Pours a brilliantly clear golden orange with a pillowy white head that falls quite fast to a thin tight ring. Mild lacing clings to the edges. White Peppercorns pop on the nose with a splash of pear and lemon rind. Some white gummy bears in the background. Pineapple and leather with a hint of hay. The Brett is really starting to shine on this beer. The palate follows the nose with a tart pineapple, pear, hay, and pepper. Light spicy floral hop bite and crackers malt with a medium-low bitterness and a dry finish. Medium light body and medium carbonation; a little higher carb would really take this beer up a few notches and help with the he'd retention issues. This beer is really starting to come into its own with a much dryer and Brett forward effervescence.

On tap at 16 tons the other day. The beer pours a clear golden amber color with very light lacing and minimal head retention. Not the best start, but the beer smells fairly nice, with noticeable clove and light spice. The flavor is more of the same, with a hint of coriander as well I thought. Mouthfeel is fairly light, and alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile.
Pretty straight forward saison ,with simple, pleasant flavors. These guys are pretty new and still seem to be finding their legs, and so I'm hoping for the best in the future.
