10 oz goblet at Westside Taphouse in West Salem Oregon.
Pours black of course..small tan head.
Aromas..light liquorice, roasted malt, cocoa powder and espresso.
All above in the taste , dark chocolate also .some sea salt
Nice medium mouth feel for the style. Helps drink ability.

L: 1 finger head, black body.
S: Moderately sweet, roasty. Dark and milk chocolate, hints of vanilla, plum, hints of fruit syrup, roasted malts, very faint coffee.
T: Dark chocolate quickly followed by roasted malt, caramel, sweet vanilla, a bit of dark fruit, finishing with toasty nuttiness.
F: Very dry, almost chalky on the gums, moderate carbonation, not as warm as anticipated.
O: Much sweeter than the nose lets on. It’s almost cloying, and seems to lack the complexity provided by the nose. Interesting mouthfeel. Thin, but dry and chalky.
