Soft fruit, sharp taste. A refreshing pale ale with a giant peach hit, complemented by subtle notes of spice.

Bottle. Light copper. Hazy. Thick frothy head.
Fruity aroma. Peaches.
Initial sweetness then finishes with a mid bitter flavour. The peach remains. Some almond present.
Moderate body and carbonation.
The added fruit makes this a pleasant brew.

Interesting, but is unlikely to ever be great.
With a funny name running as part of Uprising's theme, Caught By The Fuzz actually doesn't Look much like an APA (no suds) and while it Smells the part better (mostly malt and tropical hops and, I suppose, the peach extract), we have a beer that comes together surprisingly well in the Taste and in the mouth. APAs typically cut the steps and pile in the hops. But not Uprising's. In brief, it's got integrity when I was dubious it would.

Uprising clearly is in startup mode; releasing three years ago what seems to be their cash cow now. But Uprising has a consistent theme and is funny and, hopefully, having fun. And for trying to expand the power of yeast into people power, I give Uprising some really Big OA Hugs. As for peach-flavored beers with funny names, give it a rest until 2021.

American-style pale ale with added peach essence. Fruity and very dry. The peach adds a heavily perfumed aroma and extra fruit on the tongue but doesn’t overpower. Solid bitterness.
