Inspired by the Brown Ales produced along the River Tyne, our Brown Ale is flavorful, smooth, medium-bodied and finishes slightly dry.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a brown color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sly messy lace. The aroma had a nice blend between roasted nuts, caramel to toffee malts and then a subtle earthiness in the background. The flavor mostly blended between all of those previously mentioned aromas. A light malty and roasty aftertaste rolls into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Though the ABV was low, it still felt right where the brewer dialed it in. Overall, good English styled brown ale that I could come back to.
