I only had a 5 oz. pour as part of a sampler and this was pretty decent. Not great but certainly a nice enough beer to want another one next time I'm there. I didn't have this at the brewery but at their pub in Ellsworth. Their pub is really cool and intimate and the food is more than decent.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a deep dark brown color close to black in color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Left some stringy lace running all around the glass. The aroma had a deep roasty dark chocolatey nose initially and then opens up with some sweet oats. Just a touch of vanilla at the end. The flavor leads with the blend of the roast to sweet, seems well balanced. Touches down nicely in the aftertaste and sliding on into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt appropriate. Overall, nicely done sweet stout that I would have again.
