Classic German Wiessbier. Pours hazy yellow with persistent white head. Clove, banana, and spice aroma. Soft wheaty feel.

I am so far behind, on tap at the location in Ellsworth on a motorcycle trip this summer.

One of my favorite styles of beers for summer. Enjoyed from an undated can while camping on Schoodic Peninsula not far from the Pickled Wrinkle resto. Classic banana, clove and spice aromas and flavors. Soft, smooth, lightly carbonated. Decent length, a solid if unexciting example of Hefeweizen.

Shortlived head with no lacing. The greenish-straw color is hazy.
Lightly fruity smell. No banana or clove.
The flavor reminds me of a Belgian Blonde—some yeast bite (20 IBU hop wise). Excellent wheat presence. The body holds up for the style. Good carbonation. The swallow culminates the aforementioned flavors, but the aftertaste is brief.
