Toast Craft Lager is an American Lager made from leftover bread. It pours a deep amber with a lacey head that packs a punch of flavor if you dive into it too quickly. Overall the aroma is subtle, and the taste has mild hints of hops, but overall it’s just a nice easy lager to idly enjoy.

A: The beer is somewhat hazy amber yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a small patch of bubbles on the surface and a wide collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of floral and citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of grainy malts with strong notes of bread and hints of floral hops, the latter of which also contributes a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and slightly chewy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: There's nothing overly special about the smell or taste of this beer but it does have a nice about of hops to keep this from being overly bready. I was surprised how the hops stood out in the smell.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of June 2018, so it's a little of out date. Acquired a while back from a webshop. Described on the label as a crisp pilsner-style lager brewed with surplus bread. The ingredients include soya.
A: Poured into a tulip. A rich golden-amber colour with excellent clarity and light carbonation. Forms a small head that dissipates almost immediately. Uninspiring.
S: Aroma of pale malt with hints of faint grain, a touch of bread, light hay and a whisper of earthiness. Very mild and characterless.
T: Tastes of light malt with notes of mild bread, subtle grain, vague hay/leafiness and faint earthy yeast. Very dry, with little bitterness to speak of.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, lightly tingly and dry, with soft carbonation and decent body. Mildly astringent and somewhat lacking in texture. Aftertaste of pale, grainy malt, subtle earthiness and faint hay.
O: Pretty underwhelming (noble concept notwithstanding). Rather poor appearance, while the aroma and flavour are light in every sense of the word. Body is OK but not amazing. It's dry and clean-tasting, but the head retention, hoppiness and general lager character all need work. Drinkable but forgettable - no need to rush out and buy it.
