According to the menu its a Saison but it tastes, smells, and looks like a weizenbock. Pours a hazy orange color with white head.
Smells of unfermented malt extract and hops. Nice and sweet and slightly bitter at the same time.
Tastes of wheat and bread with a touch of banana and maybe a little pepper. The grains that I thought I identified were: wheat, biscuit, and munich.
Medium/heavy mouthfeel and very drinkable and enjoyable. I had a glass in Luzern right on the water enjoying the scenery. Possibly a bit heavy to have a couple liters of during the summer but still very very drinkable.
