Ok, this looks like a corn-starch ruby grapefruit slurry, maybe with less head. Even knowing this milkshake look is a thing doesn’t make it look better. Vanilla and peach cone though in the nose, as dose a bit of lime & coconut. I also get a little strawberry.
The taste is more sour in the opening, with vanilla easing this a bit. More lemon than lime in the tartness yields more of a sour peach (than ripe, juicy, sweet peach) or even an unripe nectarine. The middle to end bring a little sweetness to counter this, but the sourness lasts throughout the taste.
This is a medium bodied sour, with enough sour bite acting to lift it from medium plus. I like that this has a fair pucker factor on the sour side and the “milkshake” aspects are subtle. A single of these in a sitting is enough for me, though.

Pours a cloudy orange color with a bigger white head, receeding to a small ring of lacing.
Smells of an unforseen fruitiness, defined by perfumy peaches, dried mint and flowery, almost earthy vanilla bean. This also features a pleasant tartness, together with a note of hops, adding mango, kiwi and dried leaves among wild honey to the aromas.
Has almost no carbonation to it and a thinner mouthfeel to it with a light spark of carbonation during the end.
Tastes of sweet and sour, perfumy peaches, which take a fruity turn, adding additional honey and a flowery vanilla quality. The beer turns just a little creamier then, with more lemon and acidity cutting through, not being able to distract from the omnipresent peaches at all. Finishes malty, lemony, perfumy and peachy, nothing new goes on in the finish, while the flavors are able to intensify a little.
This is pretty straight forward and intense, relying solely on the peaches. To me personally the peaches grow a little too perfumy with just a lower, watery mouthfeel to them, creating a relatively one-dimensional, yet tasty sour.

Drank on tap at Draught Industries, Beacon, NY
Served in a goblet
Cloudy, burnished orange appearance. The liquid was topped by a thin white film that quickly fell to a small collar. A single drippy ring of lacing stuck along the glass.
The aroma was all peaches and cream and really quite amazing. Sweet but not excessively so. Vanilla was noticeable. Hint of sourness. Perfect in its simplicity.
The flavor was really bright and peachy up front. A pale, Pilsner malt backbone anchored the beer. Vanilla appeared in the center. Some herbal and floral, tea-like notes came through on the back end. Bit of pie crust character too. The beer finished with a crisp, lemony tanginess and subtle, bitter, earthy hop note.
Nice creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied for the style. The liquid contained a fine, rather subtle effervescence.
The highlight of this beer was definitely the aroma, but the flavor was also really interesting and complex. I love how Hudson Valley Brewing can utilize a wide array of adjuncts in their sour IPAs without overwhelming the base beers.

Decanted from a 32 oz (946 ml) crowler into a custom Captain Lawrence taster pint glass; purchased today at the Hudson Valley Brewery, canned 4/13/19.
A: Pours a cloudy, orange (think orange or orange-mango juice) color with a one finger, orange chiffon head, really excellent retention, especially for a sour, but, not surprisingly, little lacing.
S: Aromas of ripe, ripe peach, apricot, pineapple, and papaya, but with a clear preponderance of pitted fruit.
T: Sweet, but only moderately tart. Flavors follow the nose, again like peach nectar. Really couldn't even detect the malt underneath. Little or no bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Almost pulpy like fruit juice.
O: This is an amazingly well made, distinct, yet very moderate sour. Just delicious. If you like not too sour sours, you'll probably like this. If you don't particularly like sours, try this one anyway. Think of it as a "gateway" sour.

Sour IPA.
Drinking from the same kind of Teku stem glass they serve their beer in. Minimal foam with a peachy, muddy orange, thick-looking texture.
Peach and vanilla on the nose, with some other flowery aromatics I can't place, very intense and appealing. A sparkling, frothy texture up front, rounding out to a champagne-like tartness and sweetness. It finishes with a slight bitterness and a revival of the initial floral, fruity scent as it hits the back of your throat. It's really easy to drink.
