It tasted like sour chalk, or when you mix your glutamine into water but don't shake. Color is a diluted pepto-bismol color. Hudson Valley makes some bangers, however this is not one of them

A two-day-old can, poured into a Hudson Valley Teku.
L: The color on this is pretty crazy — creamy, milky, light pink. There isn't much head formation and no lacing.
S: Blueberries with a bit of coconut, and pungent. This one is far from the best nose I've gotten on an HV SIPA but still a solid 4.5.
T: At first, the taste is similar to the smell — tons of blueberries, along with some coconut and vanilla. The back end, though, is so freaking hoppy. I don't use the word "green" with respect to beers often, but the Galaxy burn on the back end is so sharp, this one definitely is.
F: HV always nails this. Creamy texture, medium weight, just the right amount of carbonation, and no discernible alcohol — fantastic for the style.
O: None of the other SIPA's I've tried from HV have had this one's hop burn issue. Outside of that, this is a fantastic release, and I'm guessing that in a month or so, when the hops mellow out, this will be incredible.
