15 February 2020 - Beer #28
Price: $16.00 at the brewery
Appearance: 4 - a beautiful bright orange. Head fizzled away like soda.
Nose: 5 - As juicy as can be. Incredible amount of fruit.
Taste: 4 - Extremely tasty. I know these guys do the sour IPA thing, but I don't really get it. Why do we need the hops in there? To me the bitterness is just unnecessary.
Mouth: 3 - takes a special talent for there to be so much acidity and sourness yet still be under-carbonated. Very strange.
Overall: 4 - an interesting offering. Not at all disappointed, but I'd make some minor changes. If I knew anything about brewing. Which I do not. At all.
Cheers!
