16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $6.85. No canned on date.
Look: Pours a medium hazy golden orange color. Has a small, thick looking white head that is dissipated at a medium pace.
Smell: There are some really nice floral aromas, along with the apricot and acidity. Up front, it smells sweet with vanilla and marshmallowy notes. On the back end, it's a subtle green note / green bell pepper. There's a subtle aroma of the malt base. A lot going on and it's hard to identify everything. After some time, I can detect the cherry blossom aroma, which smells like a sweet, floral cherry.
Taste: Interesting. It's much more sour on the palate than I was expecting from the nose. For me, this is more of a sipper than a chugger. The apricot flavor comes through as the dominant flavor, with subtle honey notes on the finish along with mildly bitter hops and herbal notes.
Feel: Prickly carbonation, relatively soft mouthfeel. Low side of medium body.
Overall: This is my second Hudson Valley Brewery beer. I enjoyed Babylon - a 6% ABV sour IPA with blood orange - more than this one. This is also good, and very different. Doesn't taste like 8% ABV, very drinkable.

A: Goldenrod with traces of amber. Fast rising carb, thin off white head that fades rather quickly.
S: Onslaught of sweet and floral cherry. Apricot jam with a sizable addition of fresh orange peel. Bright addition of buddha's hand fruit. I get cough syrup fruity vibes from this.
M: Med body. The astringency and light carbonation give it a soft but thin feel.
T: First movement consists of tart citrus like mandarin and grapefruit. Soft transition to tropical cherimoya, quince, sour pineapple gummis and dank papaya. Finishes with an assertively tartness from elderberry and cherry.
If you like sweetarts I think you'd like this beer.
