Can poured into a willi becher glass, 12.13

Clear pale yellow, numerous active streams of carbonation. One finger dense, creamy white foam cap. Good retention, settles to a pencil thick layer , some lacings,

Aroma is grassy, malts, hay

Taste is grassy with a hop presence, lemon,

Good sudsing, Big hop presence for a light pils, semi dry finish

Nice beer

Can. This Pilsner is small but mighty. Very hoppy and bitter.Lots of flavor at 3%. It is interesting because it's hoppy but it's still definitely a Pils. I enjoyed it but for the ABV, there was a bit too much zap of bitterness.

Drank from a 16 fl. oz. can purchased at Craft Beer Cellar, Belmont, MA
Served in a Willi Becher

Ultra pale straw yellow appearance. The nearly transparent liquid was topped by a tight, fluffy, finger-tall, bright white crown that slowly fell to a clingy, lasting collar. A singular thick, drippy ring of lacing cascaded down the glass.

The nose was really snappy and bright. Big lemon presence. Moderately tart. Grassy hops came through strong. Crackery malts were noticeable too. Somewhat grainy. Touch of biscuit. A crisp yeasty quality was apparent as well.

Like the nose, the flavor profile was surprisingly bold for a “light” beer. Lemon notes again came through big time. Pale, crackery malts were also noticeable. Dry and somewhat grainy. Herbal hop notes appeared next and intensified as the beer moved along the palate. The beer finished with more earthy and herbal hoppiness and a dry, lingering bitterness.

Nice fluffy mouthfeel. Lighter bodied for the style but pretty substantial given the low ABV. The liquid contained a larger bubbled, fairly aggressive effervescence that felt lively and sprightly on the palate.

Feel No Way Light is a fantastic pilsner. Period. However, the fact that this is a 3% “light” beer makes it that much more impressive. Hudson Valley Brewing have been making some amazing sour IPAs for a while now, and they seem to be nailing the crispy game as well.
