Poured from 16 oz can.
A: Light daffodil to pale marigold. The slight cloudiness keeps it from being a more vibrant shade of yellow. Good head formation, even, smooth and whiplike. Fair retention. Very spotty lacing.
S: Super light malt sweetness--bready, raw biscuit dough, almond shells. Moderately strong floral hops reminiscent of cassia.
M: Medium light body, unexpectedly mellow and creamy feel at times. Good carbonation, easy drinker, refreshing.
T: If the color and aroma didn't give it away, this was brewed with almost exclusively Vienna malt. Pleasant crackery and toasty notes that are light on the palate with a raw bread dough character. Well-hopped herbal presence of bay leaf and savory mace with cloves in the finish. They give a depth to the clean malt character and compliment it well.
