No canning date. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours an opaque orange with a massive and stable foamy head that dissipates very slowly leaving a thick ring of lacing. Some floaters collect in the bottom of the glass before dissolving after a while.
S: Sweet and tropical with a clear focus on pineapple. Subtle grassy hop aromas are also in the mix.
T: Again tropical but not as sweet as the smell suggested. Pineapple is more in the background here. Mango, papaya and melon are dominating. Sweet body, quite bitter finish.
F: Crisp and slightly juicy. Heavy carbonation.
O: The combination of sweet tropical fruit notes and the bitter finish is actually quite nice but but the carbonation is just too overpowering here. While keeping the beer crisp and crushable, it makes it almost impossible to indentify any taste nuances.

From an undated 16oz can. From Hudson Valley’s Instagram post, this is a collaboration with Finback Brewing and was brewed in February 2022. The Instagram post: “Double IPA w/ raw wheat, flaked & malted oat; hopped with Citra, Strata & Galaxy.” A very nice DIPA.
