a nice slow sipper with a pretty looking appearance. Not overly sour. The lemonade comparison is apt for the flavor profile. Solid sour overall but these variations really don't hold a candle to the flagship Peach.

my first from these guys, a really unique and well made sour, done with lemon, raspberry, and citra hops, all lending to the pink lemonade vibes, really summery, nicely piquant, and authentically fruity, better than most in the kettle sour world, and it hits the stated theme pretty well. deep pinkish and hazy in the glass, tons of big soda looking bubbles but not holding much head on tap in a shaker pint, which will always seem like the wrong vessel for sour beer to me. neat color, but murky enough to not quite be beautiful. the aroma and flavor are similar, lemon in front of berry, nice acidity from it, but some tang from the raspberry too, very modest grain character but there is some body here, its not thin from the acid. the souring is clean, the fruiting is high, and i think this is pretty drinkable as these go, and its cool that they dont rely on lactose and vanilla and marshmallow fluff to make it flavorful, which is what most seem to be doing in this style space. the lemon is there start to finish, it warms up favorably with notes of lime and tropical fruit too, and there is a nice recall on the swallow. pink lemonade these a success, reminds me of snapple from back in the day. definite vacation vibes, even umbrella drink energy, and its fun, like beer should be. impressive offering, i will be keen to try more from these guys when i am back east next, this was delicious.

Luminous dusky pink with steady loose white froth; raspberry sorbet nose with lemon pixie stick high notes; yogurt, lime zest, berry jam, hints of pink grapefruit and guava, herbal end; dry, fizzy, clean.

Bright and creamy and fun.
But not seeing “brunch” or “IPA” off of this, never mind “pink lemonade.”
HVBC hype/expertise doesn’t so much apply to these more basic models, it seems…
