Just Brut It

my first beer from these guys, and yet another brut ipa, i think before long regular ipa wont exist and it will just be new englands and bruts, good lord that will be a sad day. this is a nice beer though, very light for its alcohol content, a bright and fresh hop profile that isnt at all overdosed, and a nice dry fizziness to it in feel that keeps it really easy drinking. notes of white wine and pineapple to the hops, but also a noble element, grassy and spicy for a second, and even a hint of peach to it. minimal malt contribution here, crackery and simple, almost built like a pale lager, not much going on there but the hops do not overwhelm this either, there is nice balance here somehow. bitterness is extremely low, which leaves this feeling very clean on the palate at the swallow, light and lively and refreshing for the style, well done. this was the better of the two beers i had in here yesterday when i checked this place out for the first time. one of the better brut ipa types i have had locally.
