Stout brewed to replicate the classic delicate dessert, spumoni. Brewed with lactose, vanilla, cherry, pistachio, & cacao nibs.

Black color with no head. The nose is cherries, cocoa powder, vanilla taffy, and a very faint hint of coffee. The taste is roasted malts up front. I get a nuttiness and sweetness in the middle. The finish is an unidentifiable bitterness. Medium bodied that coats. The nose is very much as it is named and quite inviting. However, the promise of the nose is lost in the taste. Things become a bit muddled.
