Pours a clear, pale yellow color, slightly more golden in the glass; lively, fairly dense carbonation; thick, frothy head, white and sudsy, long-lasting. Great aroma, subtle and alluring; lightly sweet and floral on the nose with a dollop of fruity esters. Fantastic taste; delicate with a low-key and refined fruitiness; very subdued malt backbone; beautiful complementary hop bitterness adds depth and complexity. Generally light bodied yet a bit coarse on the palate; dry feel overall.
I really enjoy this beer. It does the Italian style with aplomb. I do think it feels a bit coarse for a pilsner style, but that is a minor consideration. The taste is where things count, and this beer exudes a delicate yet complex flavor. Very tasty.

Dry. Sterling hops aren't helping this pilsner stay traditional.
Likable and drinkable, but not a top tier expression of the style.
