Fantastic copper-colored body, clear; dense, fairly lively carbonation; thick, frothy, off-white head. Pleasant, malty aroma; bread crust and mild caramel notes; a pinch of zesty herbal spiciness complements the grain sweetness; a bit of toasted cereal grain sweetness seeps into the end of the smell. Excellent full-bodied flavor; caramel and toffee aspects with a slightly nutty hazelnut taste; low-key hop bitterness balances things out. Medium bodied with a touch of dry stickiness at the finish.
This is Oktoberfest märzen-style beer is a fine little treat. Its depth a complexity open up nicely as the beer warms a bit.
