Pours a clear brownish-orange color, looks dark amber in the glass; thick, fairly dense head, khaki-hued; nice sheets and fat spidery webs of foam cling to the glass. Nice aroma; pumpkin cookies. Decent taste; doughy maltiness with some good Fall baking spices. Heavy and smooth mouthfeel.
This is a decent pumpkin beer. It starts a bit weak and watery in the taste department but slowly reveals a fairly rich malty sweetness complemented with refined pumpkin cookie spice flavors. The looks and mouthfeel are top-notch.
