The best dish in the world, at least in our opinion? Pizza! What if we were to think of a beer as a pizza? Pizzapils Margherita: 'crisp' and fragrant with our favourite hop, Citra, in a balanced dry-hop that enhances, without ever overpowering, the character of the Pils.

Not sure how to style this. UnTappd puts it in their "Pilsner-- other" style. The hops are modest in Pizzapils, hence my choice of the German style. Untappd has 3300 Uniques, but less that 10% total check-ins more; hence a lot don't return to this. But I would. This was a delicate and soft pils and I think it will shine with pizza.
My first from CRAK, I went on their website (which has an English button!) They have a taproom, another bar and ristorante that serves vegetarian food... all in the lovely, historic town of Padua. They distribute their own beer to stores. (Buona fortuna!) For all that, I give them very good Overall Hugs. I got my copy from the Lucerne store of Drinks Of The World.
I drank this while finishing a nice mozzarella and pesto sandwich while enjoying the scenic train ride from Lucerne to Zurich. That experience was more than very good, but this subtle beer made it even better. Just the right amount of hops for this malt-head. Medium-mouthed and soft. I hope a find this again with a good pizza handy. Saluti !
