This new seasonal strong porter from Creemore's Batch brewpub in Toronto rocks. Sweet dark malts with a dark fruit note like the great Imperial stouts, and porters in that style, had in Europe leading up to the craft era. Good incisive non-aromatic bitterness - think resinous, not German, and no PNW character, so English.
