Serving: 650 mL bomber bottle from the brewery poured into a small nonic glass.
Appearance: Deep, clear reddish brown with an modest head of tan foam, streaky lace and lingering fringe of foam.
Smell: Mild aroma of toasted malts.
Taste: Pleasantly malty body - relatively light, but with some nice toasted malt and soft caramel. Light bitterness, but while not in the forefront hops are definitely not absent.
Mouthfeel: Light, smooth and creamy with gentle carbonation.
Overall: Highly drinkable and balanced. Leaning towards amber ale territory, but remains light and nicely restrained in its malt depth.
