A pretty good and balanced lager with quite some hop bitterness, altogether quite smooth, almost like a pilsner, very easy to drink. Had this at Pinsatore on tap in Vienna, went very well with their original Pinsas. Quite a good one!

.5L emptied into a Pokal.
A: Pours a cloudy gold with a rather porous 1-finger head that quickly receeds to a trace ring. Decent lacing in the upper third of the glass.
S: Sweet barley malts are readily apparent, with floral hops becoming more distinct as the beer begins to warm.
M: On the border between light and medium with a fizzy carbonation on the tongue.
T: Light sweet malt, slightly buttery, with just a hint of hops. Aftertaste is far from being crisp, with a twinge of astringent hops which lingers
D: These go down very easily. However, this is a very simple beer in every catagory. Nothing stands out, nothing piques the interest of the drinker. The lack of complication detracts from it's worth.

Found in a Vienna supermarket, the standard brown half liter bottle features a white and blue label sporting what looks like a fingerprint across the entire shield shape, making the words hard to read. No useful ingredient information. Best before 1/28/07, I opened it on 11/28/06.
Pours a cloudy yellow gold under a one finger white head that fades quickly to film and collar with big bubbles, no contour and no lace. The nose is strong of sweet malt, with a bit of herbal hops. The mouth is slightly sticky and well-carbonated. Very malty taste, somewhat on the sweet side vaguely reminiscent of cornbread. Very light hops presence (label says "decently hopped") that never actually distinguishes itself. I suppose this would be great for malt lovers, but I'll go only so far as to say it is solid.
