Picked up in a small grocery store outside of Villach, the standard brown half liter bottle has a red, white and gold label featuring two rams butting heads underneath the name. No ingredient information. Best before 12/19/09, I opened it on 4/11/09.

Pours a clear bubbly pinkish orange under a one finger off-white head that fades fairly quickly to film but leaves some decent lace string. The nose is raspberry sweet with a touch of straw. The mouth is light and quite prickly. The taste is solid for the style, with the malt leaning towards straw and the hops strong and dry. There's an herbal sensation here, too - thyme, perhaps. It is a good, not great, rendition of the style, one of many of this type available in Austria in the spring. Nothing great, but not bad.
