Originally thought this was a straightforward saison when I bought the sixer. Noticed the "w/ Strawberry & Cherry" on the back of the can once I got home. So if you could score packaging, it would be a 1.
Pours hazy gold with white head. Crap retention and lace. Also, maybe there's a hint of pink in it? Wondering how much strawberry and cherry is actually in it.
Hints of sour cherry and maybe some strawberry in the aroma. Banana/tropical esters from the yeast, and bit of spicy phenols. A bit of sweetish malt aroma as well.
Too damn sweet for a saison. Little bit of cherry flavor. Some peppery and tropical yeasty flavors, pils malt is present. Fairly flat in flavor.
To heavy and flat for the base beer, needs some acid to make the fruit pop
