440ml can.
L: Honey colour with a light haze and one finger of fast-collapsing head.
S: Faint cyder vinegar aroma. Not getting anything from the Kohatu hops.
T: Fruity, fresh and light. Lemon and lime flavour. Sourness is almost non-existent.
F: Medium/light body with some oiliness. Almost dry finish.
O: Would make a lovely, refreshing APA but I’ve marked down for the advertised style. For what is supposed to be a saison, there’s almost no tang or acidity or sourness. There’s something in the background but it’s very well hidden (deliberate?). I’d drink this again but the official description is way off (and 6% ABV is too high for what’s in the can, i.e. a summertime refresher).
