A taste of citrus and light malt aroma gives this Americanized Pilsner a distinct orange bouquet.

A: Pours a clear medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint burnt orange + golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall sudsy foamy dark beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of bready + biscuit malts with a light to moderate aroma of lager yeast. That is followed by light to moderate aromas of citrus/orange + citrus/orange zest hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of bready, biscuit, and grainy malts with a hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of lager yeast with a light to moderate flavor of citrus/orange + citrus/orange + grassy zest hops which impart a light amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.
O: Good but not great - I like the addition of the citrus hops to a Pilsner but somehow lacks the crispness that I would have expected from a base Pilsner style of beer. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol.
