A daring attempt for a culture with almost no ale tradition to produce one of the fruitiest ales. Good try. But Dargett will have to try again. The yeast is the primary obstacle to Dargett approaching the Bavarian tradition.
Dargett's Weizen Looks slightly above average, nice foam that sticks around on cloudy pale bod. Smells are barely below average, really not much fruit here and nothing tropical. Tastes are balanced, but just not much until the final salivation and some interest emerges. Very close to medium-mouthed. And could be refreshing under summer circumstances.
My first from Dargett, I go on their website and am impressed; given they are just under ten years old. They have a sophisticated site and spent lots of time and money on it. And as I implied, Armenia is not exactly a hotbed of craft brewing. So being intrepid and competent, I give Dargett very good Overall Hugs. ուրախություն..... urakhut’yun

I bought this bottle from Total Wine in Santa Rosa. Try the Total near you. A good source for BAers.
