This is an interesting one. It's not cloudy...at all. More of a Pils in appearance. Crystal clear, golden tinged straw in hue. Fluffy white head leaps upward, recedes to a fairly solid cap of dense foam.
Smell is clearly citrus forward with a peppery spice note eventually peeking through. Malt is subtle and crackers.
Flavor follows closely. Bright citrus notes eventually finish with a stronger bitter note.
Mouthfeel is spot on for a Pils.
Overall, I rated this as an American take on the Pils.

12 oz can with no date.
Deep gold color with a large white head. Great clarity and nice lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nice looking beer!
Right from the first whiff, you can tell this is not going to be your traditional kellerbier. Big, citrusy hops dominate followed by an underlying base of pilsner malt. The hops are sharp in the flavor too and make for a bitter finish. The beer is clearly well attenuated which makes for a clean finish.
There aren't any real flaws in this, per se, just a poor choice of ingredients. It's a decidedly Americanized version of a pilsner. A pilsner should be well-hopped and have some bite to it, but give me a noble hopped pilsner any day over this.
