12oz can served in a tulip. No date on the bottom.
Pours a hazy amber-orange with a medium head and medium to high carbonation. Smell is very mild...can't get anything much from smell the beer in the glass. Sniffing the can, I get a vague whiff of tropical fruit and a stronger suggestion of hop resin.
Taste is also mild. Not non-existent, though. Vague, ripe tropical fruit and vague leafy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is kind of heavy and thick. Overall...not bad, but not impressed.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a moderately hazy, medium golden amber with a quarter finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, mildly citrus and tropical fruit hops, lemon, mixed tropical fruit with pineapple present and a hint of grapefruit. Flavor is juicy; pale malt with slight caramel, tropical fruit and citrus hops, orange, mixed tropical fruit, dried pineapple. Interesting dry toffee note in the finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, nice mouth feel. A hybrid style hazy IPA with a firm malt body that resembles West Coast styles, but with the overwhelming fruitiness and modest bitterness of the New England style. The fruit flavors are pleasant and the lingering caramel and fruit aftertaste are nice, but this has too little bitterness to keep my interest. Like a lot of Eastern ales, the start of the glass is fine, but eventually just tastes like old fruit juice. Well made, nice body and hop bill, but not my style. It's getting damned hard to sample IPAs from new breweries in the classic style I prefer.

12 oz can from Tavour. Hazy amber, small creamy head, lacing coats the glass. Light dank hops, sweet caramel malts. Piney, hoppy. Smooth, creamy. Citrus.
