A: murky brown and mahagony color with some light ruby red notes. No real head
S: super smokey. Bacon, firewood, sweet malts, toffee, and caramel. Smoke dominates
T: smoked bacon. Campfire smoke, burnt wood, caramel, light toffee, charred oak
M: lighter side of medium, moderate carbonation
O: hmm. More of a Rauchbier than an ESB. It tastes very good, however the smoke dominates, so to rate to-style I’m knocking it a little since the ESB qualities don’t shine really. Don’t taste bad at all though and I really enjoy it
