Part of a flight of four at the brewpub. 30 IBU. Now that's more like it as 30 IBU doesn't overpower the sweet and grassy malt like so many other west coast renditions of the German Pilsner.
Patriot Looks only slightly above the average. Smells are malty and grassy. Tastes are balanced by just enough hops. Not quite medium mouthed.
This brewpub has been around for a decade and since this Pils is close to a core, I'm curious why I'm the first review. Maybe State Room does not can Patriot.
