Draft at the brewery
Decent foamy smaller head, good lacing, medium retention, mostly clear pale golden color
Nose sweet blond malt, doughy and a little toasty, light grassy herbal hop, light spice phenol, light generic fruity esters, fairly light
Taste big doughy creamy malt, wheat, into citrus zest, orange peel, gristy doughy malt, light phenol spice, little vanilla wheat, hops getting spicy late and little resinous, light bitterness lingering on sticky finish
Mouth is med bod, lighter carb
Overall meh, nothing really special, plus the hops definitely get overpowering for a saison

Basic saison. Golden in color, lots of yeast phenols in the nose. Too much residual sweetness, tastes like a Wyeast French Saison beer that wasn't mashed at a low enough temp. Pretty bitter. Would be a great porch beer for summer if they simplified the grain bill, dropped the bitterness and dried it out some.
