Bright golden color with a modest white head.
The aroma is fresh bread, citrus, grass and floral hops.
The taste is also fresh bread, mild grapefruit and lemongrass. The finish is dry with notes of grass, pepper and a hint of pine.
The body is light/medium, decent carbonation level, fairly smooth and drinkable.
Altogether, this is a pretty decent brew, fairly well balanced, although a bit hoppy for a blonde ale, tasty and refreshing, best cold, nice.

When you can't make a pilsner taste like a pilsner, then make an ale taste like a pilsner. At least that's how the blonde ale started out. But as breweries like Mile Wide continue to Americanize the style, the taste is trending slightly pale ale-like.

Brabble is once such beer as a nearly bright golden pour delivers an arid and cottony froth. Spicy, citrusy and floral to the nose, the beer''s taste starts pleasantly grainy, sweet and bready.

As the flavors unfold, the sweetness dissolves and the hops project to do slightly more than just balance the malt. White grapefruit, lemongrass and a hint of honeysuckle decorate the middle palate while the late palate is spicy, peppery and grassy with hints of citrus peel and pinecone.

Medium light in body, the beer's brisk carbonation highlights the hop spice and a floral citronella character that brings a strong pale ale presence once more. A medium length aftertaste of peppery, sprucy hops keep the session crisp, refreshing and highly drinkable.
