Last day Louisville and taking in a few places. This one a recommendation from the folks at Hi-Wire just prior. From there, we walked to the here through a resi neighborhood. It sucked. Do not like. Sign out at the road suggests that this place is back there (me, pointing). Where? Behind the biscuit factory murder silos? Yes. And it was. It’s just that there could easily have been murderings back behind the biscuit factory silos, so I guess it all worked out. Enter in and step down…
Black concrete topped rectangular shaped bar with a wood lip, vertical corrugated base, and a concrete foot box. Seating for a dozen and a half on chairs 3ish sides around. The bar is seemingly glow lit from below. Either that, or… Bar overhang is brightly colored done up with a single flat on each side and lined below with strung egg bulbs all around. The inside of it is pasted with brewery stickers, pretty cool. Drop 12 tap logo handled tower on the end and a periscope tower aside with 6 more set 3 & 3, + a stupidface slushy machine.
Concrete floors, black painted ceiling & ducts, and white walls of brick over dark framed lowers. Projection screen to the rear, and whoa, nice rack (It really holds all the board games well). A few large prints (one of them is the Brooklyn Bridge), and a logo piece. A trio of draft boards up front listing beer, style, ABV, serving size, & $ for full & half, and a can cooler over there, too. Area in the corner with barrel aging action. Signage listing beers being barrel aged (beer, the barrel, and date filled). You don’t see that too often.
7 step up tables on one wall sharing a single inner bench end to end, and 4 mix & match tables on the opposite wall fronting the brewery behind glass. A loooooong ass raised shared table for 16 running from pillar to pillar to the rear of the bar, and some cushy set up past there. And some bar counter space forward & over the barrel zone. There’s also a back room with a dozen pinball machines, and a tiny biergarten out back back.
18 taps (Goldenface, Citra Pale Ale, 6%; DJ Roomba, Hazy Pale Ale, 6%; Crank the Petals, Hazy Pale Ale with Hibiscus, Shippingport collab, 5.5%; Big Rock, IPA, 7%; Linch Pin, NE IPA, 6.5%; Motherboy, Single hop Mosiac West Coast IPA, 7%; Grassroots, West Coast IPA, collab with 4 Hands, 7%; (Currently Unnamed) Hazy IPA with Mango & Vanilla, collab with Dissolvr, 6.5%; Hops on the Hill, Oat Cream IPA with Lactose, 7%; Orange Hops on the Hill, Oat Cream IPA with Lactose & Orange Puree, 7%; Brabble, Blonde Ale, 4.8%; Kapowski, Amber Ale, 5.5%; Parasail, Hoppy Summer Ale, 4%; Paristown, Festbier, 5.5%; Quiet Science Shark-N-Berry, Sour with Strawberry, Banana, & Orange, 5%; Loud Noises, Slushy Sour with Pineapple soft serve, 6.5%; McPoyle, Milk Stout, 6.5%; Fruit-olous Ideation, BBA Imperial Stout with Blueberry, 11%).
More than ½ of ‘em are hoppys and some of those are hazy and/or dirty lactose. Took in a few shortys as one does starting with the West Coast IPAs (Yes, plural). I’m liking the Grassroots (4 Hands collab) better than the Motherboy, but both were solid. And then Goldenface, Citra Pale Ale, clean, fruity, very good; Paristown, Festbier, bready, toasty, tasty.
Caught a few good beers and no clunkers. Really should have gotten a shorty of that BBA Imperial Stout with Blueberry. Friendly peoples and a good space.

Located in an actual grain silo, this has a really cool atmosphere. Various spaces, inside and out, carved out for multiple seating options. Onsite food vendors (pizza). Really good use of the space.

Space for days here. Lots of interesting styles on tap. Cozy couches and a big screen. Small gameroom in the back. I enjoyed everything I've had from them. They also do half pours. I think every brewery should do that. One of the best, if not the best brewery in Louisville.

nice big open spot with lots of varied seating, couches, hightops, regular tables and a big bar space. They seem to have about 12 or so beers on tap plus a handful of crowlers and 4-packs for sale. Friendly bar tenders and friendly folks in general and one big tv for sports it seems. Nice spot for a visit for sure.

Really enjoy this place. They do not serve food, which is fine because many places in Louisville don't. There is a food truck sometimes. The interior of the place isn't much to look at, but I'm also not here to judge décor. The inside is mostly concrete and minimal. Full rectangular wrap around bar. Many seats with a small outdoor seating area. Arcade games, darts, etc to stay occupied. The beer is very good for a new brewery, and as always, that should be the main focus. Staff is great and they keep up with social media and take customer input into consideration. Awesome addition to the Louisville area. Definitely recommend this place as I feel they have the best beer in Louisville.
