Appearance - Pours hazy deep yellow with a decent white head that settles to a sporadic ring around the glass. Spotty lacing.
Aroma - Big sweet pineapple, mango and melon, mild malt, big overly ripe tropical fruit.
Taste - Taste is more of the same overly ripe fruit, malt is a little more pronounced. Grapefruit, candied sugar, bitter citrus peel.
Feel - Medium bodied nice carbonation with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Nice NEIPA, solid flavors well balanced easy drinking.

What's better than adding more breweries to a collaboration IPA? Adding more hop! And this is exactly what happens when Mild Wide Beer asks the brewers of Southern Grist, Heaven & Ale and New Heights to join their efforts in the Hops on the Hill beer festival.
Huell Melon, Mosaic, Citra & Amarillo cryo-powder all work together to make Damgud Bucket of Greens a winner at the haze game. Reasonably turbid, the beer's matte finish is cast in a burnt orange, bronzen appearance. Its rich lather pulls from the beer and rounds the nose with the radiant and juicy perfume of tropical fruit, citrus, melon and orchard fruit with a honey-like backdrop. Sweet on the front of the tongue, a pastry-rich taste of shortbread, honey, cashew and mild caramel wraps around an initially starchy malt texture.
With the malt textures and sweetnesses stewing on the middle palate, the hops slowly grow into a forerunner of passionfruit, gooseberry, pineapple and under ripened mango for a tropical fruit lead. Oranges, lemons and limes bring a sense of tropical fruit sherbet while the brightness of pink grapefruit rounds out the juicy hops. Honeydew, kiwi and papaya add nuances of complexity as the ale develops a moderately bitter taste of green tea, chive and verbena.
Medium bodied and holding onto that starchy substrate, the bright and tangy hop profile resists any strong fade toward dryness or crispness but keeps the fruity rewards of the hops front and center on the tongue and the mind. A spice of gin comes after the bitterness as the ale fades into a smooth and medium length afterglow of macerated fruit and light herb.
