16oz undated can poured into a nonic pint glass at fridge temp 8% ABV per label. The beer pours very dark brown with little light penetration. Head is light brown in color and settles to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. Slight lacing. Aroma is mild with roasted malt in the form of watery chocolate and dark fruit. The taste is semisweet roasted & toasted malt with more dark fruit and mild chocolate. Mild bitterness. Thin to medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, very good example of an underrepresented style.

From the growler via Party Source in NKY in a snifter. This decent little Baltic
porter pours a deep and moderately dark muddled brown with cola highlights
and a decent head of off white foam that subsides to a thin ring and light clumping
layer with light lacing. Nose of coffee, chocolate, char, and dark breaded malts.
Flavors surpass the nose by presentation with a dark almost German Rye breaded malt
characteristic with dark chocolate and dark coffee bitterness that mingles nicely with
date notes and woodsy char elements with a hint of herbal hop notes on the rear.
Nice mouth feel; medium full body, lightly coating, medium light carbonation, and
a rich roasted finish.
A solid little brew from a newer brewery.
Very nice
Cheers

16 ounce can. No dating on the can I noticed but I purchased this last weekend at the brewery. Served in a Mile Wide snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around for a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark chocolate, dark fruit, burnt/charred malt, coffee, dark bread and a bit of toffee. Taste is similar to the aroma, with burnt/charred malt, bittersweet chocolate, dark bread, coffee, fig and earthy flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and a bit coating with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good brew, liked it on tap at the brewery last weekend and it's just as good now! Definitely worth picking up.
