What a great surprise to be offered a sample. Great color, lacing, nosecsbd if corse taste. Louisville now has something beside The Kentucky Derby and The Louisville Slugger to be proud of, great craft beer.

There's been a lot of ingenuity that's been poured into the craft beer scene and those developments have led to an upgrade in all faucets of brewing, even giving the IPA a sense of renewal with the New England styled ale. It was only a matter of time before the noble Germanic hops saw a similar rebirth.
Hazy, pastel gold and growing a creamy, pillowy froth, Dunst Bro leads with a strong perfume of citrus and tropical fruit with a spicy, peppery, grassy bouquet following closely behind. Pastry-like with parts of cereal, cream and honeysuckle, the beer's malt influence is starchy, sweet and modestly toasty.
But the hops eventually take hold of the middle palate and share its fruity secrets of pink grapefruit, lime and under ripened orange peels. Hints of passionfruit and pineapple trend slighlty lemon and kiwi like into a nearly tart and winey taste. Moderately bitter, a late palate of smooth grassiness carries hints of geranium, lemongrass and matcha tea.
Medium bodied and trending slightly dry, the malty dry ale slowly prefers a hoppy finish of botanical grasses over the linger of bready sweetness for a crisp, clean taste without being beaten over the head with intense bitterness. The medium level of hops do however extend a little longer than all other fruit or sweet components.
