Our take on the tradition of Germany's Oktoberfest. Light amber and malty, Paristown Festbier finishes with a pleasant creaminess and a hint of spice from traditional German hops.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid little fest pours a clear medium
amber with a moderate head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, faint
dusty layer, and sports some faint lacing. Nose of toasted malts, breaded malts, and
earthy herbal hops. Flavors follow the nose but exceed with a fine presentation
of breaded malts, toasted malts, bread crust, subtle stone fruit hints, and herbal
hops. Mouth feel is medium light, light carbonation, and a lightly bitter finish.

Overall, a nice take on a classic style

Cheers

16oz can from four pack dated 082422 poured into a mug at fridge temp 5.5% ABV. The beer pours bright, very light copper in color with light khaki head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. Spotty lacing. The aroma is mild with toasted whole grain bread. The taste is more of the same, semisweet toasted malt with hints of earthy hop flavor. Mild bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Cleanly lagered. Overall, very good Märzen with a confusing label.
