Copper to gold in color with a thin white head that quickly fades to nothing. Nose is pungent, with hints of banana and maybe pears. Taste is sour, yet sweet with overwhelming berry flavors. Nice sour.

Just in time for summer’s most watched tradition, Mile Wide embraces the week ‘o sharks with a blood bath of sour flavor packed with orange, banana and strawberry. Its sure to be a juicy, Quiet Science experiment that we can’t wait to sink our teeth into.
Pale gold and held in a foggy glow, Shark-N-Berry builds a creamy froth that plays host to a strong tropical fruit, citrus and berry scent that’s also backed with cider, wine and breadiness. Sweeter to taste, the early palate celebrates a cobbler-like doughiness with hints of taffy, sourdough and fruit juices in tow.
As the sour ale splashes against the middle palate, its juiciness of red berry and banana become the featured flavor in a full and tropical fruit cocktail display. Add in the orange and insinuations of lemon, green apple, lime and white wine and a spiked punch character takes shape. With a low level bitterness pulling from the fruit skins and seeds, a balance of bitter fruitiness accompanies an acute sourness in true cocktail form.
Medium bodied and trending lighter, the sour ale finishes fruit and tart with an underpinning of sourdough and light jam. Highly refreshing an surely a summer time thirst quencher, the ale carries a fruit tone throughout.
