Very hazy/cloudy orange color with a decent but short lived off white head.
The aroma is tropical, citrus and stone fruit with a hints of pine and caramel.
The taste is grapefruit, tangerine, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, plums, and apricots with a light caramel malt background, slightly sweet, nicely tart. The finish is dry with lingering citrus zest and pine resin, moderate bitterness, nice balance.
The body is medium, good carbonation level, smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a tasty and refreshing brew, nicely balanced. It should work well with most food and would make a nice refresher for most summer activities, but is great just for enjoyment anytime, very well done.

Dropping a bomb of hop flavor on the senses, Mile Wide Brewing pulls Citra, Amarillo, El Dorado and Mosaic hops from the brewer’s pantry and have no problem layering all of them in a fruity, smoothy and bright beer.
Expectedly hazy gold, Linchpin Hazy IPA steps in immediately with a fruit filled scent spanning everything from citrus, to tropical, to vinous, to stone fruit, to berry and then to botanicals. But first a path of malt is laid with suggestions of cereal, shortbread, honeysuckle, vanilla and dough. The floral and fruity nose soon translates to juicy and branch-ripe fruit flavors with radiant orange, red grapefruit and lemon. Secondary flavors of pineapple, mango, passionfruit, papaya and kiwi lead to white grape, nectarine and currant- all candied and ripe in nature. As the flavors slowly favor the bitterness, the finish is smoothly balanced with gin-like botanicals and a peppery curaçao liquor bite.
Medium bodied and striking an even keel malty-dry balance, the beer is nearly as refreshing as it is flavorful.

16oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden orange color with a small, head of khaki-colored foam. It left sudsy lace. It smelled of mango, guava, orange and pineapple with sweet caramel. Great, bright tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a sharp, piney bitterness.
