Bringing back the seventies most favorite dessert salad, Mile Wide dusts off the notorious side dish and transforms it into beer.
Lightly hazy and chrome in appearance, Ambrosia casts forth a loose and partly fizzy froth along with a candied cereal scent laced with citrus, tropical fruit and cream. Sweet with its first sip, the taste of cereal and cream give a distinctive lucky charms quality. As tartness rises, the middle palate shows the flavors of green apple, lemon, lime and orange. With a juiciness of pineapple and coconut, the session wraps up with a cocktail fruitiness to go along with the cereal.
Medium bodied for sour ale but generally lighter overall, the session concludes with a cereal aftertaste and brisk lactic acidity.
