Primarily fermented with Brettanomyces claussenii, a heavy dose of flaked rye in the grain bill, and hopped with Centennial, Mosaic & Hallertau Blanc.

Nose is pungent. The Brett contributes a dry, powdery aroma, while the hops chime in with tropical scents. It's an awkward combo, for me. The powder smell is a bit medicinal, rather than the funky scent Brett can often bring. This is all true of the flavour as well. Very dry, slightly reminiscent of Orval, but with a big dose of tropical fruit and some spicy rye flavours. A lot of nice things, but they don't mesh that well for me. The Brett flavour is just different than what I like. A lot of positives, but the whole package falls a bit short for me.
